In the consultation, we discussed the pros and cons of blinds vs shades vs drapery, to make sure the customer understood the benefits and downsides of each solution. Customer chose very opaque fabrics for the blackout curtains, which would go on the bedroom windows, and thus needed to have good room darkening capabilities. Crafted the new curtains with the blackout fabric and returned to complete the installation in under a week.
