Mr. Olterstadt wanted some cheap, user-friendly window coverings to replace some that had been damaged in a household fire.
Since the windows that needed covering were different sizes, we needed to install a couple of different models of roller. With that taken care of, Mr. Olterstadt decided on a simple vinyl fabric for the roller shades themselves, with two different colors to match the rooms. He considered getting the roller shades motorized, but in the end, he decided to cut costs and go with a simple drawcord for each set.
